We have advised an international bank on a proposed $1 billion facility to be secured by oil exploration receivables; a leading Dutch bank in connection with loan facilities totalling $20 million to a cocoa processing company for the expansion and installation of a cocoa processing plant; International Finance Corporation in respect of a multimillion guarantee agreement with a local bank to finance the operations of licensed cocoa buying companies; Africa Export-Import Bank on its $60 million credit financing of a mining services company; and the International Finance Corporation (IFC), Standard Chartered Bank, Citibank and other lenders in a $260 million syndicated loan facility to a major telecommunication company in Ghana. We have also advised Standard Chartered Bank in respect of a $100 million facility to a local company to finance the importation of petroleum products.
